Why We’re Bringing Back the Sport Management Council Blog

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? The Brock Sport Management (SPMA) Council blog has been quiet since 2022, but that doesn’t mean our SPMA community has been standing still. Far from it! We’ve grown, hosted events, made connections, and seen students achieve incredible things. Now, we’re ready to start sharing those stories with you again.

Before we dive in, I want to introduce myself. I’m Eva Violin, the Communications Coordinator for our Council and your main author here on the blog. Pursuing a research-based Master’s in Sport Management has shown me the power of storytelling, which is why I’m excited to use this blog to connect and inspire our SPMA community.
